As part of the Los Angeles Review of Books team, the Events Intern will have the opportunity to work alongside LARB’s Executive Director and to develop professional skills in nonprofit management and development, including database upkeep, fundraising, research, event planning, marketing, and engagement with a vibrant host of committed community members. This position will work approximately 30-40 hours per week from June through August.
Internship Skills, Knowledge or Other Requirements: —Must be motivated, organized, and possess good communication skills —Attention to detail —Excellent reading, writing, and proofreading skills —Interest in literature and/or the humanities —Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Wordpress, Mailchimp, and database maintenance a plus. —Be able to work 15-20 hours per week remotely
