The Special Events intern will support the fundraising team 40 hours a week with the planning and execution of annual events focused on introducing new supporters to the Pasadena Symphony and POPS. This internship will begin in mid-June and end in mid-August.
PSA is asking for the Special Events intern to have organizational skills, attention to detail, and a desire to connect with the public. The intern will have a strong interest in behind-the-scenes planning of the organizations most important events, parties and post-concert receptions. An interest and passion for classical and contemporary music is important. Experience in public-facing roles will be helpful and comfort with email/telephone communications.
The Pasadena Symphony and POPS seeks a Special Events intern to provide support for its fundraising activities which support the presentation of world-class music in the San Gabriel Valley. An interest in classic and contemporary music is a plus, and the ability to work as a team member on an arts-oriented staff is required.
