The Art Studio Intern will work closely with Lalo Marquez, Art Director, to provide part-time support for the Art Studio. The intern will work approximately 15 hours each week, starting in June and finishing in December 2022. The Intern will provide support to the daily activities of the students and faculty in the visual arts department, assisting with classroom set up, clean up, supply stocking, and most importantly, teaching and working with youth.
The Art Studio Intern must have a good working knowledge of visual arts media, techniques, and art supplies.
Founded in 1972, the Boys and Girls Club of West San Gabriel Valley and Eastside provides after-school programs and services to youth at six Club locations in the West San Gabriel Valley and East Los Angeles, including at three public housing sites - Ramona Gardens, Estrada Courts, and William Mead Homes. We offer outstanding programs in five core areas: Education and Career, Character and Leadership, Health and Life Skills, the Arts, and Sports, Fitness and Recreation.
