Description

The marketing intern will receive hands-on exposure and experience in the activities of marketing and communications for a world-class arts organization. By supporting the 3-person marketing team, the intern will gain skills in social media, video production, graphic design, PR, and general office while learning professional skills befitting any career.  The internship is for 400 hours; interns will be offered a flexible and responsive schedule ranging from 15 to 35 hours per week between July and February, ending at the completion of 400 work hours. Position may be remote, depending on public health mandates related to Covid. This internship is paid hourly. 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter, who is organized, responsible, and strongly interested in music, particularly choral music. The candidate should have knowledge of Microsoft Office and be comfortable using a PC.

The Los Angeles Master Chorale is widely recognized as one of the best choral ensembles in the world. Established in 1964 by Roger Wagner, the Master Chorale is one of the resident companies of the Music Center, along with the LA Philharmonic, LA Opera and the Center Theater Group. Committed to both preserving and innovating the traditional art form, the Master Chorale performs for the public locally at its home, Walt Disney Concert Hall, with the LA Phil and through international touring.
