The Los Angeles Jewish Symphony is seeking an energetic, personable intern to assist in the production and marketing of two concerts and several high-quality YouTube videos. The intern must have excellent organizational skills, familiarity with standard Microsoft programs, social media and graphics software, and an interest in arts marketing and promotion. Love of music (as well as any musical experience) is a plus. This position will work approximately 20 hours a week from July through February.
The intern should have some knowledge of regular office tasks and workflow, be a team player and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Essential skills include: knowledge of standard Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and facility in employing social media (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter). Expertise with Photoshop, Publisher and other graphics software is also desired. Video editing skills are desirable but not necessary; they can be learned in the course of the internship.
