Parson’s Nose Theater is seeking a Marketing Intern to contribute to the development and implementation of our annual marketing and social media campaigns for our 2022-2023 season of plays. This position will work on-site 30 hours per week from September through November. Attendance at evening and weekend performances will be required. Our theater and offices are located in Downtown Pasadena, and are just a few blocks from the Memorial Park Gold Line Station.
We are specifically looking for an intern with: 1. Strong social media skills 2. Excellent communication skills 3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office 4. Excellent computer skills We are particularly interested in performing arts students who want to learn what it takes to operate their own theater company, music ensemble, or dance troupe.
Parson’s Nose Theater specializes in performing family-friendly, under 90-minute adaptations of classic works performed by professional actors. We define the classics as works of literature that have had a profound and lasting historical impact on American culture. Our performances have included critically acclaimed adaptations of works by Shakespeare, Moliere, Chekhov, Goldoni, Belasco, Gogol, and others.
