Conjunto Oye! is a salsa band that was started in 2004. The band plays “Newyorkican” music—highly energized traditional Cuban music brewed with a Puerto Rican flavor. It is one of L.A.’s pre-eminent salsa bands. The group serves up everything from Tito Puente’s classic mambo to modern salsa like that of the Spanish Harlem Orchestra.
