Potential Applicants Encouraged to Attend a Free Application Workshop
WHAT
Applications are open for two separate grant opportunities, made possible by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. The Organizational Grant Program (OGP) and the Community Impact Arts Grant (CIAG) support organizations providing cultural services to LA County residents, communities, and neighborhoods. Workshops
Arts and Culture offers a variety of in-person and web-based application workshops for new and returning grantees.
NOTE FOR OGP APPLICANTS: First time applicants and applicants who did not receive funding the last time they applied must attend an application workshop in-person or via webinar.
Cultural Equity & Inclusions Workshops
As of fall 2018, applicants to the OGP program are required to submit board-adopted statements, policies, or plans that outline their commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and access as part of their applications.
To assist applicants with preparing for this requirement, the Department of Arts and Culture is offering free workshops designed to help applicants clarify and outline your organization’s relationship to cultural equity and inclusion, or deepen the policies you already have in place.

The Organizational Grant Program is a two-year grant program providing County nonprofit arts organizations support to address priority needs and ensures cultural services for the diverse communities that comprise LA County.

The Community Impact Arts Grant program funds arts and culture programming in support of non-arts organizations whose work is centered in civic problem solving across a range of areas to meet community needs.
