The Department of Arts and Culture provides funding support through a variety of grant programs, ensuring cultural services and opportunities are accessible to LA County residents of all ages.
The Advancement Grant Program offers financial support to Los Angeles County school districts in the Arts for All network that are working to provide quality arts education. Grants are matched by school district funds to assist districts in achieving key action items in their strategic arts plans.
ORGANIZATIONAL GRANT PROGRAM
The Organizational Grant Program (OGP) provides financial support to assist and strengthen LA County-based nonprofit arts organizations and address priority needs.
COMMUNITY IMPACT ARTS GRANT
The Community Impact Arts Grant (CIAG) program provides funding for LA County-based nonprofit organizations offering arts services or activities in a wide variety of situations and settings often outside a traditional arts environment.
The Department of Arts and Culture, in partnership with The Getty Foundation, provides the largest paid arts internship program in the United States. Nonprofit arts organizations apply for grant funding to host college students in the summer and eligible students apply to and are directly hired by those organizations.
The LA County Free Summer Concerts program provides support to organizations presenting accessible, quality music programming at community venues throughout LA County that represents the diversity of the region.
