The LA County Arts Ed Collective coordinates the Countywide effort to ensure that all students receive quality arts instruction by expanding teaching and learning, and building political and public will
In 2002, the LA County Board of Supervisors established the Arts Ed Collective to align efforts across the region with the ambitious goal that LA County’s 1.5 million public school students receive a well-rounded education that includes the arts. The Collective is comprised of policy makers, educators, arts organizations, teaching artists, funders, business leaders, and community advocates.
The Arts Ed Collective supports school districts as they increase the quality, quantity, and equity of arts instruction in their schools.
The Arts Ed Collective collaborates with community arts partners to offer students, educators, and practitioners a range of learning opportunities.
