The Marketing & Communications Intern will work closely with the Executive Director and be a key member of City Hearts’ efforts to increase community engagement and marketing efforts. He/she/they will take the lead in the creation and design of the organization’s annual Activity Report, develop marketing and outreach materials, create content for social media, implement an expanded communications plan, and assist with administrative and programmatic duties. This position will work approximately 20-30 hours a week from June through October, depending on the preference and schedule of the selected applicant.

Qualifications

The intern should be familiar with graphic design programs and software, including the Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior experience with email marketing campaigns. Passion for arts education. Familiarity with editing photos and creating graphics for social media content. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
