City of Torrance - Marketing and Development Intern

Description

The marketing and development intern will work alongside the producing artistic director in all aspects of production, focusing on marketing the productions, and development projects. Aside from assisting with those elements, there will be occasional clerical duties,  sitting in on auditions, painting sets, assisting stage management and production crew, and everything in between. The intern will have access to every corner of what the Torrance Theatre Company is doing, and have the ability to shape parts of their internship to be something that is rooted in their own interests and passion. Estimated timeframe for the internship is between the middle of June and the December, working between 15-20 hours per week, based on availability.

Qualifications

The Torrance Theatre Company is looking for someone who is organized, proactive, enthusiastic, and ready for a fast-paced and exciting adventure. Experience in any of the following production areas is helpful, but not required: social media platforms, google analytics, final cut pro, photoshop, iMovie. The successful candidate will possess solid word processing skills (Microsoft Word), and be able to manage other programs (Outlook, Excel, Power Point), or the mac equivalent. A valid California driver's license.
