The City of West Hollywood’s Arts Division (@WeHo Arts) is seeking an intern to assist with management of its social media platforms, electronic newsletter, and performing arts programs, in particular the City’s One City One Pride LGBTQ Arts Festival in June, WeHo Sounds concerts, and WeHo Reads online programs. The Arts Intern will assist with arts events logistics, promotion, management and staffing, as well as the City's participation in the Americans for the Arts Economic Impact of the Arts study. This position will be 15-20 hours a week, and there will be some night and weekend work required for events.

Qualifications

The following skills and interests would be beneficial, but are not required: social media skills, event management skills, audience feedback/survey experience, familiarity with graphic design programs, and an interest in music, literary arts and/or LGBTQ art and artists.
