Description

KCRW is looking for an organized, hardworking, and passionate Development Intern to join our Development department in Summer 2022. The Development Intern will work with KCRW’s institutional and individual giving fundraising teams to support KCRW’s news, music, arts, and culture programming through funder research, strategic writing projects, and donor engagement. This position provides an excellent opportunity to learn about fundraising and public radio operations at one of the country’s most well-known stations. This position will work approximately 40 hours a week from June 2022 through August 2022. While we plan for this internship to take place in-person at our Media Center in Santa Monica, safety is a top priority for our organization and the internship may become a remote or hybrid opportunity depending on external factors such as COVID-19.

Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Google Workplace (Google Drive, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.)
  • Basic Excel and/or Google Sheets experience
  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (in email, on the phone)
