Description

The Arts Education Intern will develop an interactive component, lesson plan, or remote learning module for one of the Museum's upcoming artistic response exhibitions. The Intern will have freedom to design the project within the goals for the exhibition. The Museum of Social Justice is a collaborative work environment that is perfect for students comfortable taking initiative and being creative. The position is currently designed to be approximately 25 hours per week from June through October, but this time frame could be adjusted based on the intern's availability and schedule. 

Qualifications

Interns will be expected to post about their project and experience on the Museum's social media.

Background

The Museum of Social Justice tells the stories of marginalized groups in Los Angeles. Through our exhibitions and programming we strive to inspire our visitors to advocate for social transformation in their own communities.
