The Production Intern will work closely with the Executive Director, Elizabeth Cline, Co-Artistic Director Malik Gaines and other staff with production and administrative projects to support the development and implementation of The Industry’s production Star Choir. This position will work approximately 20-30 hours a week from July through November 2022.
* Production Intern must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), G-Suite (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets), Zoom, Dropbox and must also be comfortable using email, scheduling, and taking notes. * We are looking for an Intern who is organized, creative, can think on their feet, work independently, meet deadlines, take direction, multitask, and adapt to quickly changing priorities. * It is not necessary to be proficient or even to have an interest in opera. Rather, The Industry is interested in working with someone who loves the arts, is open-minded, and gets excited about doing things in new and innovative ways.
The intern will provide production and administrative support for The Industry’s 2022 large-scale multidisciplinary opera production Star Choir.
