The Digital Media Production Intern, under the guidance of the Digital Media Program Coordinator at A Place Called Home, will be responsible for producing APCH’s MoonDance Film Festival, film content for Digital Media and greater APCH events, workshops, and fundraisers, and the management of Digital Media administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to build skills and experience digital media production, live event management, editing, graphic design, and arts education, all while serving the South Central Los Angeles community. Interns will work between 20 and 30 hours a week from June through December.
This is an ideal position for an enthusiastic and outgoing filmmaker with a passion for digital media production, social justice, and arts education. Applicants should have knowledge of filmmaking with a dedication to delving deeper and learning from a team of established film industry professionals. APCH Intern’s work in a fast paced environment and need a high degree of personal organization, self-motivation, and strong interest in working with young people alongside a team of fun and positive artists.

APCH's Digital Media Program's mission is to support students in expressing their creativity; use the arts as a vehicle for personal development; instill respect for all cultures; and provide intensive preparation for students interested in pursuing the arts professionally. APCH provides afterschool programming and wraparound support for about 900 youth, ages 8 - 24, and about 12,000 community members every year.
