The Development and Audience Services intern will provide key support in engagement activities, such as Opening Night receptions and other donor/patron events, during the summer of EWP’s 56th season. The intern will learn invaluable skills in fundraising, audience relations management, and customer service in the non-profit sector, particularly as it relates to culturally-specific theater and its diverse patron base. This position will work approximately 37.5 hours a week from June to August.
Applicants must feel a connection to the impact of EWP and have a desire to support the mission & work of EWP; interest in and knowledge of API issues and/or issues of diversity, equity, access and inclusion in performing arts is a plus. Preferred skills for this position includes strong data entry skills (Salesforce/PatronManager), experience using social media and e-newsletter platforms, and event planning.
