The Development Intern will gain hands on experience with all aspects of nonprofit Development including fundraising, donor management, budgets, strategy, and community relations. This position will give interns an opportunity to work in a collaborative, professional and historic Los Angeles nonprofit. The resulting connections will serve interns well in future job applications and all positions within nonprofit administration and management. This position will work approximately 3 to 5 days per week, 20 hours per week from mid-July 2022 to late-November 2022. Workdays occur Monday through Friday and work hours occur between 9am-8pm. Internship schedule will be finalized based on intern’s availability within the daily/weekly timeframe. Since the internship extends beyond summer, we understand the need to be flexible and supportive of students who may be in school during this timeframe.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) is a plus. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and social media (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) is a plus. • Outgoing disposition and strong communication skills are a plus.
