Visual Communications is seeking individuals who are willing to learn and immerse themselves in our values, with a belief in the power of arts and culture to connect and impact our communities. The position will be approximately 20 to 24 hours per week from June to September. These dates are also subject to change based on intern's school timeline (if applicable).

Qualifications

Visual Communications is seeking a Development & Communications Intern with good organizational skills, detail oriented, excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work independently and effectively given a limited time frame, ability to balance multiple tasks.

Visual Communications Media’s mission is to develop and support the Asian American & Pacific Islander filmmakers and media artists who empower communities and challenge perspectives. Founded in 1970 with the understanding that media and the arts are powerful forms of storytelling, Visual Communications creates cross-cultural connections between peoples and generations. Created by a group of artists and filmmakers to organize and empower communities through media, Visual Communications is the first non-profit organization in the nation dedicated to the honest and accurate portrayals of the Asian American & Pacific Islander peoples and communities.
