The Abdo Dagher Ensemble plays Middle Eastern folk and traditional music as well as original works by Abdo Dagher, the legendary accompanist to the Pearl of the Orient: Oum Kalsoum. The purpose of the group is to introduce the US public to the rich musical and cultural heritage of the Arab world and Arabic music through mesmerizing virtuoso improvisations.
