Shelley Segal

Singer-songwriter Shelley Segal grew up singing in her father's Jewish wedding band in Melbourne, Australia before studying music in college and then moving to Los Angeles. She performs and writes music in a broad range of styles including pop, folk, jazz, blues, rock and reggae. Her intimate storytelling and biographical lyrics unifies her songwriting across genres. Shelley has collaborated with guitarist Adam Levy, world-renowned DJ Carl Cox and many more. Her influences include strong storytellers such as Alanis Morisette and Ani DiFranco, as well as stunning voices like Jewel and the virtuosic Katie Noonan.
