With her lush, scintillating, and swinging vocals steeped in the rhythms and traditions of Brazil and Latin America, vocalist Carol Bach-y-Rita beautifully interprets the best of the American songbook as well as original compositions and Brazilian music. Incorporating samba into each performance, Carol provides a warm, effervescent, and gorgeous musical experience.
The nine-member Masanga Marimba Ensemble plays high-energy, family-oriented traditional, and popular music from Africa and Latin America on marimbas of various sizes, drums, percussion, saxophone, and trumpet.
This band's repertoire spans seven decades and includes a choice of classic covers, rare gems, and award-winning original songs. Floyd & the Flyboys' unique sound is influenced by traditional soul, blues, funk, New Orleans R&B ,and roots rock.
