The Los Angeles County Civic Art Collection belongs to all residents and is comprised of historic and contemporary civic artworks by a diverse range of artists, with work located on County properties all across the region. The Collection is made up of artworks commissioned, donated, and purchased since the Civic Art Policy was adopted, as well as historic artworks created prior to the establishment of the Los Angeles County Arts Commission. For the first time ever, we have made a selection of these artworks available to download as either desktop wallpapers or video conference backgrounds (for programs such as Skype and Zoom).
