Current Organizational Grant Program (OGP) grantees are invited to join the LA County Arts Commission at a two-day Essentials of Human Resources Training offered in conjunction with The Nonprofit Partnership. Topics covered include:

What does cultural equity look like at the community level? How can artists and civic leaders foster creative justice for the people they serve? What the heck is a PechaKucha*? Find answers to these questions and more at The Art of Community, a night of short presentations and discussions on cultural equity in communities.

Learn the 101 of proposal writing and dive beyond the application to better understand the grant process, with an opportunity to step into a grant panelist’s shoes.  You’ll walk away being able to identify the characteristics of strongly written applications, with new ideas for how to make your proposals pop.

Can’t make our in-person workshop earlier in the week? This virtual meeting will provide an introduction to the LA County Arts Internship Grant Program, walking through the nuts and bolts of the program and discussing elements of a successful application. This ideal for new organizations thinking of applying, or returning applicants who need a refresher on the guidelines.
