As part of the Fall 2018 grant cycle, all applicants are now required to submit a board-adopted cultural equity statement, policy, or plan with their application to be eligible for funding.
Potential applicants are invited to discuss the RFQ process with the Los Angeles County Arts Commission Civic Arts Program, including the Zev Yaroslavsky Family Support Center East Lobby RFQ and strategies for successful portfolio submissions. Questions raised in the workshop will be posted publicly on the Arts Commission website on October 8, 2018.
Learn with colleagues and gain insight from other Arts Ed Collective school district leaders and learn preparation tips on applying for the California Department of Education’s $44 million competitive grant program called SB 933: Student Support and Academic Enrichment Grant (SSAE), which will provide funding for arts education, and student health and safety.
