About the Artwork:
Grounded in the deeply personal experience of growing up in a forest in the Pacific Northwest, this work became part of a project for exploring the artist's connection with nature through the abstracted visual poetics of the cellular level of trees, the flow of water and the beauty of clouds in blue skies.

About the Artist:
Dawn Arrowsmith is an American artist based in Los Angeles, California. She has exhibited her paintings, works on paper, sculptures, installations and performance work in the United States, Europe and Asia. Her work is included in museum, corporate and private collections including Eli Broad/Sun America; Claremont Lewis Museum of Art; The Capital Group Foundation; Ducal Palace, Gubbio, Italy; Princess Madawi M. Aboulaziz of Saudia Arabia and the Jeffrey Schrager Collection.
